Plants as People: Our Inherent Connection

Jazmin Pirozek is from Lake of the Woods, Ontario and of Norway House Cree Nation. Jazmin lives in Kenora, Ontario and  she studied at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay. Her studies included Anthropology and Archaeology and then continued her studies in Plant Biology. Jazmin has studied Boreal plant phytochemistry and currently studies Amazonian plant medicine under Maestro Juan Flores of Mayantuyacu, Peru.

She owes her knowing, learning and personal healing of the plants through traditional dieta and Kamarampi. Jazmin is a Board member of the Psychedelic Association of Canada and has been a guest lecturer at many Universities and Healing Centres. She works for Northern Ontario First Nations teaching Boreal Plant Medicine for prevention of metabolic illnesses. Jazmin is building her Healing Centre on Lake of the Woods to continue her studies and teach others about connecting with the plants spiritually, emotionally, mentally and  physically.
