Collaborative Approaches in Addiction Recovery with Ketamine-Assisted Therapy

Join Marc Caron for this pre-conference, event as he speaks with the team from Empower Health about their work with Ketamine and it’s benefits for creating positive change for those who choose this path for healing and transformation.

Join us for a powerful livestream panel introducing the Integrated Recovery Program, a groundbreaking initiative supporting men on their journey to recovery from substance use. This program, created through a collaboration between Empower Health, Together We Can Addiction Recovery and Education Society, and Change Space Foundation, takes a holistic approach to addressing the root causes of addiction, including mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Key features include personalized care, innovative therapies such as neurofeedback and ketamine-assisted therapy, and a participant-centered model that fosters empowerment, accountability, and community. This trauma-informed, culturally-safe environment provides a transformative path to recovery, emphasizing not only sobriety but an overall improvement in health and quality of life.

 Mick Dosanjh

Mick Dosanjh entered recovery in 2006, embarking on a journey that involved overcoming both addiction and complex mental health challenges. While traditional recovery methods provided him with a foundation and helped him navigate the early stages of sobriety, they only carried him so far. After years of commitment to these methods, Mick found that ketamine-assisted therapy unlocked a new level of healing, allowing him to address unresolved issues that had hindered his growth. This breakthrough experience has been pivotal in his ongoing recovery, leading to profound personal transformation and emotional well-being

As a Certified Addictions Counsellor in British Columbia, Mick plays a vital role at Together We Can, where he helps others embrace their recovery paths. His counseling approach is rooted in his own experiences, combining traditional recovery frameworks with the insights gained through innovative therapies. Mick remains dedicated to guiding individuals through the challenges of addiction and mental health struggles, offering tailored support that promotes long-term recovery, resilience, and growth.
